SP&RM®
SP&RM®
Baseline definition of processes and their executing systems is key to business improvement.
Complexity is still problem #1 in businesses and organizations, and this leads to a situation where an ever-smaller percentage of employees truly understand. System, Process, & Requirements Modelling (SP&RM®) was specifically developed to counter the above situation. SP&RM® offers the modeller 11 model types to choose from, covering amongst others, process flow, system architecture, activity flow, item flows, data flow interfaces, system state transitions, life cycle outline, and system requirements formulation. All model types can be read and understood by all employees of businesses and organizations. This allows all employees to contribute to improvement efforts. It is not humanly possible to do systematic improvement without models – graphical models, mathematical models, data models.
SP&RM® is based on a novel meta-model with unique system-to-process relationship and includes several new concepts and constructs. It is now possible to do original design, retrospective capture, reengineering, implementation training, and new-recruit training with the same set of process and system models/maps that can cover data/info, physical, and mixed scenarios. For more complex systems, SP&RM® is capable of modelling high-fidelity system behaviour dynamics, enabling executable models.
This tool can be applied in improvement projects, system realization projects, and during operations. SP&RM® is powerful, uncomplicated, scalable, and universally applicable across all business sectors.
